C325<un-key> and listen for the following (OK UP = OFF) or (OK DOWN = ON). This feature toggles the CTCSS state. CTCSS will -re-activate on its own after 5 minutes of no repeater activity. CTCSS tone is not required to activate this feature.

During a CTCSS load, the Cat-1000 will automatically send the commands to turn on the CTCSS Encoder. If the CTCSS Decoder is desired, it must be manually enabled will the remote base is not enabled. Example 103.5 tone = C525513
